I wrote some songs for a documentary about a tornado that plowed through a small town. The documentary is called The Screaming Sky, created by a local film maker in Michigan.
This particular song was meant to parallel a building storm and tornado, accomplished with many strings and orchestral instruments. The song starts in the calm before the storm, with ominous overtones. It climbs through dissonant chaos into an epic climax that is immediately followed by near-silence.
